Wash 500 gr. of the product and leave it to soak from the night before. To cook it, put it in cold water and bring to a boil, leaving it to simmer for about an hour and a half. During cooking, if necessary, add a little hot water. Salt and serve with a few tablespoons of olive oil. If you prefer you can combine short pasta or rice, or a sauté of oil, onion or tomato.
